Tutoring available in English (reading and writing), Math and Science

I believe getting a strong foundation in math and reading at a young age is crucial because it sets students up for success in later years and these skills are essential for most school disciplines. I have experience teaching young students how to read, beginner math skills and many other subjects. I also love to tutor the sciences, and prep for reading comprehension standardized exams.

Tutoring available in English, Biology and Chemistry

I offer tutoring at the high-school level in English (Essay writing), Chemistry and Biology. 

Tutoring available in IB Chemistry, IB Psychology and IB Biology

I know firsthand how time-consuming and stressful the International Baccalaureate Diploma program can be. Whether you're trying to get specific grades on your mocks to get accepted by your dream university, do well enough on your finals to get university transfer credits or keep up your grades to satisfy admission requirements, I can help your student achieve their IB academic goals. I offer tutoring in IB Chemistry, IB Biology and IB Psychology.

Tutoring available in High School and Gen Chem Organic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry I and Organic Chemistry II

Organic Chemistry can be a challenging subject for many students. I have helped dozens of students improve their understanding and academic performance in Organic Chemistry I and II. Organic Chemistry sessions focus on nomenclature, stereochemistry, characterization and reaction mechanisms. Students will also be provided with weekly homework to help with understanding. As a bio-organic chemistry major myself, I know the shortcuts and tips to memorizing tricky mechanisms and understanding isomerism and characterization. 

This is a new program I'm starting in the 2024-2025 academic year! If you have Black students who need tutoring in any of the subjects I offer or want academic enrichment opportunities so they can be challenged, reach out in the Book a Session form or the Contact form. Currently, this program offers tutoring between the hours of 3 pm EST and 7 pm EST on Wednesdays and 7 am EST to 1 pm EST on Sundays, but new times are opening up, so don't hesitate to reach out and suggest another time that works better for you!
